MeadowCreek Golf Resort is situated at 3,868 feet above sea level in the pine-forested Meadows Valley, Central West Idaho, with the alpine peaks of Granite Mountain and Brundage Mountain Ski Area reaching skyward more than 7,000 feet in the distance. The golf course weaves in and out of the pine trees and across the verdant meadows offering changing scenery and stimulating golf at every turn.
Those aren't bunny tracks! Walk out your back door or park at the clubhouse and you'll find groomed trails around the entire golf course. Ski to your neighbor's for a toddy or two!
If you live in MeadowCreek than you can't miss the great view of Brundage Mountain. Within ten miles of MeadowCreek, during any season, Brundage offers up a variety of activities from total of 25 miles of downhill skiing trails, mountain biking and concerts to year round catered events.
In less than a thirty minute drive through beautiful Goose Creek canyon is the areas very own Little Ski Hill; headquarters of the Payette Lakes Ski Club. The Little Ski Hill has over 30 miles of groomed, Nordic trails including a biathlon range and weekend night skiing! It may be little but it's BIG in fun and can boast of being the training ground for several Olympians over the years!
In McCall is Ponderosa State Park. The park has a per vehicle/per day fee of $4.00. If you want to ski, for only $2.00 per person/per day (annual vehicle pass and family skiing passes also available), you can enjoy miles of groomed Nordic trails and several miles of them are lighted for night skiing! Season vehicle and ski passes are available. The park is a great deal of fun at very little expense.
Right in the middle of town is the Manchester Ice and Events Centre. This beautiful ice rink has hockey and figure skate rentals, daily public sessions and is home to the USFS sanctioned McCall Figure Skating Club and the McCall Mountaineers and Ospreys hockey teams!
